The Prayer and Praise service affords us the chance to thank God for His
wonderful works in our lives and petition Him on the behalf of the infirmed,
aged, homeless, jobless, abused and neglected. Union Baptist, a praying
Church Family, has long been believers of and practices The Word. The UBC
Family can truly attest "the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord
shall raise him up..." (James 5:15).
The Union Baptist Church Family is currently involved in an in-depth study of
Paul's first letter to the Corinthians. Pastor Shaw's uniquely concise and
informative teaching style has enlightened all, young and old, who attend.
